Wildcats already getting some hardware

True Freshman RB Keola Antolin is starting his Wildcat Career off with a bang. In only his 2nd collegiate football game he was named the PAC-10 Special Teams Player of the Week. Keola's lightning quick feet have elevated the Wildcats return game to another level. The field position advantage you get from averaging 32.7 yards per return is huge.

In other news it seems as though the coaches around the league agree with Mr. 4Real and named Cal's RB Jahvid Best the Offensive Player of the Week award. I should point out the Wildcat Sophomore RB Nic Grigsby was a finalist for this week's award.

Wildcat Junior LB Sterling Lewis who filled in for Xavier Kelly when he tweaked his ankle was a runner up for the Defensive Player of the Week award.

It's exciting times in Wildcat country as we are starting our journey to the florist......
